To determine if your Heat & Glo gas burning fireplace uses the Intellifire Plus system you will need to remove the decorative mesh front from your fireplace and locate the module near the valve below the firebox.

If your fireplace has a black or gray module with a three position black switch located near a round orange or red sticker your fireplace does operate on the Intellifire Plus system. Below is an example of an Intellifire Plus module.

Gently pull your Intellifire Plus module out from under the fireplace onto your hearth. To reset the module, move the selector switch from the “remote” position to the middle or “off” position.

Then you allow 5 minutes to pass. Move the selector switch back from the middle or “off” position to the right and the “remote” position.  You will hear a beep.  Once you’ve heard the beep your unit is ready to start.
